Those who Bring the End
While growing up, concepts in religion always hung over my head. “Revelation will come at any moment, ending any life that may not have been fulfilled or even near finding its purpose.” “The Lord is supposed to be the embodiment of love, but He instills such terror in me, like I have to be someone I’m not to evade torture for eternity.” “If what the majority of these preachers tell me is true, then I’ve already been saved a seat to damnation before I die.” I’ve internalized these questions for so long that they’ve become a constant voice in my head, and like many other concepts, I’ve humanized them to attempt to understand them better.
I’ve had the habit of personifying concepts, like words, phrases, people, their personalities, my personalities and so on, for a while now. It would start out as a side project, to test my creativity and my understanding of others and myself. It would then become a new favorite project, it helping me branch out into other areas of study, as before I felt that deviating from main goals would hurt me in the future, but with this, I don’t feel like I’m hampering myself. This project has also been an outlet for myself to express things such as insecurities, memories, sexuality, and parts of myself I’m still discovering about my individuality and all over my identity. My favorite part; has been designing multiple creatures, for a single concept. I’ve recently came to the realization, as only recently in my life have I been able to see new people, and expand my horizons, that there is little to no black and white in life, it’s a chaotic sea of grays, constantly altering and revealing new shades of perspectives and history, and I’ve lived for every second of this new beginning of my life.
The Destroyer from God
The Wrath from God
The Fear of God
The Punisher from God
The Judgement from God
The Angel Praedoel was created after all life
was in the universe was created and planned
out. After destroying one world, and slaying
some quarreling beasts on it, he keeps the
gored heads mounted on his magic blades as
a trophy. This angel dismantles worlds by
absorbing the sky, seas, and land leaving the
inhabitants of the world to drift through the Void.
The personification of the Creator’s wrath, he
Carries out extreme justice upon sinful worlds.
He casts a blazing storm of righteous fire,
Purifying the souls of their mortal binds,
rendering the world to brimstone, which he then
Impales with his claymore and tears the world apart.
This angel is more patient and parasitic. He
possesses someone of power, and then slowly
wears them down until he has gained near
complete control. After turning the world into a
domain of zealots, he bursts out of his host,
partially turning his form into a beacon of light,
calling all the souls of the world to him.
The punisher is supposed to ensure the torture
of the damned. However, Ultorel felt that he had
reformed even the worst sinner and made them
worthy of Paradise. However, the Creator
disagreed, and as punishment, he tore apart his
form, to show that none shall deviate from His
plan.
The Angels
After the Beginning, the Creator had devised a system, to weigh the actions of His creations. The Judge, The Destroyers and The Punisher, all play a role in this system.
The Judge, Iudiciumel was crafted for the sole
purpose of weighing the consciousness of all life. He only sees existence in the pure black
and white of the Creator’s Word. After he casts
judgment, he soars back to Paradise, to send a
Destroyer to the world.
