My collection is a coming of age fantasy story that critiques how society is quick to judge and stereotype those who are different due to their beliefs and fears The Tale of the Omen King follows the life of boy born different from those around him and how emotional and physical abuse molded him into the the Villain he is now. Furthermore, in the heroes story I will be exploring how blind faith can negatively influence and corrupt ones mental health when one is trying to meet the expectations of someone else's moral compass/ way of living sacrificing what makes us individuals. Having free will.
A prophecy tells that a child born with the crescent moon mark is a sign of an misfortune and evil. That was enough to stoke the fear and hatred for a child who had just been born who's life is at the mercy of fate.

And so the cycle continues he will be born again. He will feel our wrath, he will live a life like hell. A new world a new hell.
The child of the dark crescent mark was born. An ill fated child all who love this child will share his fate keep away from the child but don't kill the child that is not your place. That task is meant for the chosen.
